Advice with ex and childen . . .?

he definitely has to meet you halfway. if you are doing all the work eventually you are going to start feeling (more) bitter about the whole situation, hate him even more (hate may be too strong a word, not sure about your situation), and it's going to make things worse for the kids. if he really wants to be in their lives, he should put some effort into it. otherwise he'll be a deadbeat dad even if they visit him
