Aquarius and leo relationships?

this aquarius(my hubby) and i(leo) have been married for three years but last year we separated and havent seen each other in a year.after all of the fighting and bickering weve done, recently I spoke to his father,apparently he and his father had a talk in person over the holidays about our marriage and hubby told him that he didnt want to divorce,and that if any paperwork dealing with he and i came by his fathers house to tear them up.i am confused.i havent spoke to my husband in weeks.is this normal behavior for an aquarius,to run and tell other people about their feelings?is this the behavior for them when they think about wanting you back?
