I had a dream about someone that ped away...?

In the dream, he came to visit me where i lived, where i last saw him before he ped away. He told me that he loved me and that he missed me. It was like one of those things you hear where the dead come back to tell you how they feel. He's been gone for almost three years now though. We ended up having in the dream and shortly after spending a few days with eachother he tells me that he has to go away again and it makes me cry. After he leaves, i find out that i am pregnant from our encounters with eachother. Am I an alcoholic?

I drink everyday, pretty much without exception. Not over the top but like 4 beers or a 3/4 a bottle of wine or some whiskey/scotch depending on my mood. I feel the need to drink everynight, but it doesn't affect my day. I always feel fine when I go to work and do my job. I'm the same way with ciggerettes, I don't smoke all day, I don't even think about it. When I get home I crave a cigg. I usually smoke 4 or 5 a night. 2 packs a week (more on weekends). Ive asked my freinds, who tend to drink more than me when we go out and none of them drink during the week like I do. I've been doing this for years, and was surprised recently to find out none of my friends drink during the week they wait for the weekends. And just to help you answer Im in my mid 20's not some 18yo.

He didn't even read it, but called me and said, to tell him instead. I told him, I couldn't (I was on another call with the bank) so he texts me, saying he no longer liked me as a friend and was moving that week. So, I told him---fine, come get your stuff. I guess this made him madder, since I didn't beg him to reconsider---so we start text arguing and he then says he's going to "get me with no remorse", so I call the police, who come and say there was nothing they could do unless he was there being belligerent. So, the cops leave and 30 minutes lata, my roommate shows up...comes in....gets in my face and says, "I will KILL YOU BlTCH!!" and takes my cell phone and throws it against the wall. I run out the apartment and call the police....where they come back---and stay until he removes his things. He's gone now...and I am at a lost. How did me sending him a mild-toned, friendly letter on facebook (that he never read) turn into him threatening to kill me?

I agree with you - it seems to me like she just can't let go and she's using everything she can to get peoples attention, and most importantly his with the best/worst thing she can - cancer. It would enable her to have more control over the situation which is obviously what she wants. If you dont' want to take care of her, just say so, I doubt shell understand but its honestly you're choice and if you're so unsure its cancer (which it proably/hopefully isn't) then you certainly shouldn't feel guilty, she'll get over it quickly. It just seems very convenient she's had all of these illnesses during this time and if it really was cancer, she'd be behaving a lot more differently and the papers would have said because its more than a normal hysterectomy so it'd say. My laptop fan kicks on alot?

I've got a hard drive from my old laptop that id like to install in my new laptop, any suggestions?

I've got a hard drive from my old laptop that id like to install in my new laptop. My new laptop has an extra internal slot to install a hard drive. The interfaces match up and the HDD from the old laptop fits fine but its not showing up in explorer or anything. Im running windows 7 x64 bit. If i try and make the hard drive master (the only hard drive in the laptop) it blue screens after the windows loading logo. (ive tried this with two hard drives that both have operating systems that worked fine on their original laptops). There are no options to enable a master or slave settings, Just to enable the detection of the hard drives. Any suggestions to get this old HDD to work as a slave for extra storage?

Need to brainstorm about a problem with my cat and his water bowl.?

Rescued Mayhem about 6 months ago. He is 2 years old and doing very well, except he pulls his water bowl all around and slops water all over the place. He walks through the water and then his litter box. I end up with a very sloppy wet, litter mess all over the laundry room. I have tried the large automatic waterers thinking it would be too heavy to move, and he knocks it over. I tried placing a brick in the water bowl and he still can drag it around. Any ideas?

Today I woke up late so I had 2 weetabix and melon, 2 hours later I had oatmeal and an apple. I have a ten year old mare who is EXTREMELY spooky! She spooks at the silliest things every time i ride her. Why not eliminate corporate/businesses taxes for 1 - 2 years to see how it would affect the economy?

In conjunction with eliminating taxes, federal spending has to mitigated severely. I vehemently believe that reducing taxes on corporations and business will spurt growth. If they feel uncertain at the end of the year they can just lay off employees (as usual). If productivity and employment increases in that period then it will prove eliminating taxes will spur employment, growth and recovery. I think medicare, medicaid, s.s. payments, unemployment payments, military spending should be mitigated. Discretionary spending should be eliminated except for subsidizing education. I do support clean energy but we can't afford it now and tax the heck out of people to pay for it now, It can be accelerated later. Tax revenues will need to rise later, meaning more taxes to pay for the deficit and investment but the economy is too weak at this point. I also think bloated salaries for the most powerful politicians including various benefits should be eliminated. They don't need them, many are generally very wealthy and could survive a year if the rest of the nation can.

Here are some thoughts and feelings I have about Mark Discoll and Mars Hill church. I am not a christian (I am an atheist), but I sometimes go along with friends and family to different churches as not only a common courtesy, but also as to learn a little something for myself. As I went up to the University of Washington in Seattle last Sunday to visit my brother and take him out to lunch, I tagged along with him to church. I've been to Mars Hill before and really thought pretty highly of it as compared to other churches. It's kept up well, the people are nice, the people dress nice, and the preacher is knowledgeable. After being to several services at Mars Hill though, I started to notice more minuet details about the church and what seemed to be its underlying goal as a congregation. Mark Driscoll is what I see as eye candy for modern day christians. He's trendy, smart, funny, very good looking, and talks with perfect flow. This automatically appeals to all women who come to church, sit down, and drool subconsciously over how "amazing" he is. Even for the guys, he's a funny dude who is interesting to listen to, and is smart. The whole atmosphere of the church is based around the Seattle culture. Everyone has very nice clothes and is perfectly up to date with style. In turn, lots of people feel accepted when they go to church there because they can just walk out of their town house in Ballard, crocs on their feet, suit jacket on with v-neck under it and a tie loosely hanging around their neck, cup of starbucks in hand, and walk straight into church and fit perfectly in. Whoever was behind the church culture and music style was very smart about indy trends. This church is seemingly the perfect church. But I feel like it is all deceptive. Mark Driscoll is obviously just a figurehead, and if something happened to him, I can guarantee that many would stop going to church there and following along with the Mars Hill bandwagon. He's a very smart guy who has a hold on all of his followers, he's like a God to his people, trust me. I don't need to say anymore about this church, I'm sure you all get the point. I was wondering though if anyone felt the same way that I do about this church and how it runs. I can see it very clearly.

Cliche from what I skimmed... it just sounds like a ton of other books that started in very similar ways. If I read that in a book on the library I would put it back after the "never, ever leave." because that makes it feel like one of those "You may not stop after you start reading this!"..."you will die if you don't repost!" messages that are all over other sites. Also, I think you repeat "You don't want to enter this world" in different ways a couple too many times. What I do like is the second and third paragraphs though :) The part in the fourth where you say "we'll talk about that" takes the reader completely out of the story. It's like a blue horse in the middle of a herd of zebras; it doesn't fit and it takes away from the rest of what's there. I would just not mention at all, that would make it much more child-friendly if that's your target audience. Also, how do we keep the population going without ? Just a thought ;)

Crazy people?

I think a big part of the problem is that there is no deterrence. If you steal a car and race around residential roads at 60mph, putting countless lives at risk, all that happens to you is that you're told not to be a boy and banned from driving for 5 minutes. My Dead Dog's Replacement?

So recently, my 9 year old dog Puck, who I got when I was 8, died of a heart attack. It was very saddening for me and my mom, but after a week my depression went away, and I was feeling better, and ready to continue living normally. Should I leave the existing ventilation fans in when getting a new metal roof installed?

I am replacing my shingle roof with a metal one. The contractor that is going to install the roof recommended that I remove the existing ventilation fans. The attic gets really hot. But the contractor told told me the metal roof will act as a good insulator and the attic fans aren't needed. Can I get someone's professional opinion on this. I know it would be easier for him to install the roof without the fans. But I'm not sold on the idea that the roof will insulate well enough to eliminate the need for a fan.

Myspace comments section - can I move it?

Is there a way for me to move the table of the comments so that it takes up two cell spaces instead of the one cell space it's taking up now (I notice that the comments is lined up under the right hand side and that myspace seems to line up with tables)? I ask because a friend of mine posts these uplifting messages but uses large images and it shifts my entire page to the left. I don't want to delete them, I feel that'd be rude and I like the messages they mean something to me. I think if I can shift the comments page to use the entire bottom of the myspace page, it'd solve my problem. Any ideas? If you need to I'll link the page so you can see the problem I'm facing with the page setup. Sore leg since Thanksgiving. Why?

Ok so clear back on Thanksgiving, a muscle in the back part of my lower leg started hurting. It felt like maybe I had stretched the muscle too far. It has hurt since then and the pain does not go away. It hurts clear up the back of my calf, to the back of my knee. Sometimes even a little higher. Its difficult to walk. I have iced it, put heating pad on it, stretched, used pain relievers, soaked in baths... EVERYTHING. I can't figure out why this hurts so bad. I didn't really do anything to cause the pain to begin with either. I just noticed when I stood up that it hurt. I thought I stood wrong on it, my friend keeps telling me its a blood clot.
