Can censorship be justified in a democracy.?
The UK proclaims itself a democracy, but is one of the most censored countries in the world. The official secrets act is a catch all to protect those incompetents in the civil service and government(all parties). Moral fascism in the guise of "protecting children" from such as: video games, dvd,s violence...etc,is nothing more than right-wing religious bigots trying to control the lives of all of us. I accept that there has to be some control, there cannot be a free-for-all,but,who decides ? my main point is : democracy and censorship are opposites and the truth is always the first casuality.
