Would I be able to get into a 18+ club being 17?

I am 17 years old my birthday is September 10,1993 and I was wondering if I will or will not be able to get into an 18+ club being just several months behind. I've heard from some people that it depends on the bouncer. Would it be stupid to get a fake id or will most bouncers hook me up cause im not far behind? Please inform me.
