How long does it take to get over someone you love?

friends, i'm tired after loving dis guy who is in de same university as i am in. wheneva his mood is good he'll talk else he'll ignore. my friends think i'm lying wen i tell them we have somethin b/w us coz he neva shows his emotions in front if them. he had gone for a trip in summer during which i expected that after he comes things might get changed..n it did in a bad way! we r going away from each other...i've tried to hold onto this relation for long but now my patience is breakin...he is always wid some gals i dont like..i know in de beginning wen he came back i couldnt give him dat attention i used too coz i had my exams..well i think he expected the worse thinkin i changed...but i didn't wen i got de time i tried giving him de attention but he started drifting apart..what to do?? i wish things were as blissful as they were before but its not happening...he keeps hurting me...keeps making me cry..i dont know wat to do? i was thinking of giving up...but it hurts..i keep crying!!
