Is Karate Back in MMA?

some guys have karate backgrounds but none of them are just karate fighters, they all incorprate wrestling, muay thai, and jiu jitsu into their arsenal if a fighter came in only knowing karate he would get wrecked. lyoto machida is an amazing fighter, with a great style he brings to the octagon, but if he didn't know wrestling, bjj, and combine muay thai into his karate he wouldn't be undefeated. he is slowly combining his karate into mma. not combining mma into karate.
