My laptop fan kicks on alot?

I dropped my computer awhile back and it runs fine but it got bent on the bottom. The fan kicks on and it seems to happen more when I plug the charger up. It has a short in it so I have to wobble it around to make it work. But my computer runs fine. I'm just wondering if its going crash Anytime soon from the fan staying on alot? The CPU runs at 20 percent on average and the ram around 60
